Private Villa
Located a short distance from the historic centre of Rome, this 500 sqm villa — originally built in the interwar period — has been carefully renovated by Matteo Nunziati to balance historical character with contemporary living.
The project preserves and enhances the original architectural identity while introducing a more refined and functional spatial organisation.
Materials play a central role: the flooring, in wenge-stained oak, features Fox Trot, designed by Nunziati for Listone Giordano, while the walls are defined by lacquered wood panelling with a distinctive Nuvolato finish.
The interiors are completed with furnishings by Rubelli Casa, whose aesthetic — rooted in the same historical period as the villa — integrates seamlessly with the architecture, reinforcing a coherent and timeless atmosphere.
A project that reflects a sensitive approach to renovation, where past and present coexist in a refined and balanced dialogue.
