Private Villa
A private residence on Zurich’s legendary Goldküste, where Matteo Nunziati developed a refined and highly distinctive vision for the living spaces, defined by materiality, proportion, light and meticulous attention to detail.
The project is built around a singular vision.
The project unfolds through a sophisticated palette of Navona travertine, textured natural stone, dark timber panelling and satin bronze finishes.
Every surface is carefully calibrated, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury in which materials, furnishings and bespoke elements form a coherent and timeless language.
At the heart of the residence, a monumental helical staircase wraps around a still reflective basin, animated by a towering vertical bronze sculpture rising through multiple levels.
More than a circulation element, the staircase becomes a powerful spatial composition, where art, material and light interact to create one of the defining moments of the residence.
The kitchen, bathrooms and living areas follow the same rigorous design language. Natural stone, timber, bronze and carefully selected furnishings are combined with bespoke solutions, while light filtered through Venetian blinds continuously transforms the atmosphere throughout the day.
Custom-designed elements play a central role in defining the identity of the spaces, together with a precise selection of furniture, finishes and decorative elements.
Rather than pursuing an ostentatious expression of luxury, the project is defined by balance, restraint and permanence.
The result is a sophisticated yet deeply liveable residence, where comfort, material quality and attention to detail come together in a calm and timeless environment.
