Private Villa

A private residence on Zurich’s legendary Goldküste, conceived by Matteo Nunziati as a rare convergence of architecture, materiality and light — where luxury reveals itself not through excess, but through absolute mastery of detail.

The project is built around a singular vision.

Navona travertine, textured natural stone, dark timber panelling and satin bronze finishes compose an environment of extraordinary, almost ceremonial refinement — every surface a study in tactile precision, every proportion a deliberate act of restraint.

At the heart of the villa, a monumental helical staircase wraps around a still reflective basin, animated by a towering vertical bronze sculpture that rises through multiple levels.

More than a circulation element, it is a spatial event — architecture and art dissolving into one another.

The kitchen, the bathrooms, the living spaces: each room obeys the same rigorous compositional language, where light filtered through Venetian blinds becomes a silent protagonist, continuously reshaping the atmosphere from dawn to dusk.

This is not a project that chases the aesthetics of contemporary wealth.

It aspires to something far more enduring — a timeless elegance that is at once monumental and deeply, unmistakably liveable.

A residence where sophistication is not declared, but felt.
