The spirit of Modernism, carved in wood
Backrest and armrests emerge from one continuous piece of heartwood, the shape travelling from the vertical axis of the backrest down to the horizontal axis of the armrests through an unusual spiral connector.
A detail that is at once structural and sculptural, the kind of solution that only becomes possible when craft and design are genuinely inseparable.
The legs carry the same truncated oval profile as the accompanying table, binding chair and table into a single, coherent visual language. Seat cushion covers, in fabric or leather, are fully removable.
