Matteo Nunziati at Milan Design Week 2026

Milan Design Week stands today as the most influential global platform for design, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors and thousands of brands from around the world. What was once centred primarily on furniture has evolved into a multidisciplinary phenomenon, now encompassing automotive, fashion, technology and lifestyle, transforming Milan into the undisputed capital of contemporary design culture.

In this international context, Studio Matteo Nunziati played a prominent role in the 2026 edition, presenting a series of new projects and collaborations across the Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone.

At the Salone del Mobile, Matteo Nunziati designed the exhibition stand for Turri and introduced the new Belt sofa, a piece that reflects the brand’s evolution through a refined balance of craftsmanship and contemporary language.

For Flou, Nunziati presented a major new chapter of the Gaudí collection, showcased both at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile — within one of the most prestigious pavilions — and in Via Durini, Milan’s historic design district, at Salvioni Solutions, through a dedicated installation. The new Gaudí LeGrand represents a complete reinterpretation of the highly successful Gaudí bed first introduced in 2019, which became one of the brand’s best-sellers and received multiple international design awards. The collection is further expanded with the introduction of the Gaudí modular sofa, reinforcing the identity of a coherent and recognisable design language.

2026 also marks the beginning of Matteo Nunziati’s first collaboration with Longhi, one of the most established names in Italian luxury furniture. For the brand, Nunziati has redefined the concept of contemporary living with the new Vesper collection, a complete system including a modular sofa, armchair, high and low sideboards, bar cabinet, coffee tables, sofa-side tables, bed, bedside tables and chest of drawers. The collection expresses a renewed lifestyle inspired by the elegance and cinematic atmosphere of 1970s films, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.

Completing the presence at Milan Design Week, Matteo Nunziati presented the new Eclipse sofa for Busnelli, further consolidating his role as one of the leading designers on the international scene.

Through these multiple collaborations, Studio Matteo Nunziati confirms its position at the forefront of global design, contributing to shaping the evolution of contemporary living at the highest level.
