Oryx Tower by Qatar Airways
Following a highly selective process, Qatar Airways — widely recognized among the world’s leading airlines — appointed Matteo Nunziati to design the interiors of Oryx Tower, a high-end residential development in Doha.
The apartments, ranging from 150 to 300 sqm, are designed to combine comfort and functionality, with generous layouts and floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize natural light.
The interior palette is defined by refined and timeless materials: ceramic flooring in soft beige-grey tones and warm oak wood used for bespoke furniture and doors.
Neutral tones are subtly enhanced by accents of blue and deep amaranth red — a discreet reference to Qatar Airways’ identity — introducing depth and contrast within the spaces.
Particular attention has been given to circulation areas, where natural oak paneling is combined with refined details in Carrara-effect surfaces by Florim, creating a cohesive and elegant atmosphere.
Between Function and Character
The concept of lightness — inspired by air and flight — defines the entrance lobby. The reception desk, crafted in frosted glass and illuminated from below, appears to float above the floor, while the backdrop in reflective glass amplifies depth and luminosity.
Overhead, sculptural chandeliers reminiscent of luminous clouds reinforce the ethereal quality of the space, contrasted by the solidity of travertine-effect flooring.
Residents also benefit from a fully equipped fitness area and a spa, where oak wood and Calacatta and Carrara-effect surfaces by Florim create a warm and sophisticated environment.
The project reflects a balanced approach to contemporary residential living, where elegance, comfort and identity are seamlessly integrated — a signature that places Matteo Nunziati among the leading figures in international interior design.
