Rubelli Casa Showroom
Located in the heart of Milan, in Via Fatebenefratelli, the Rubelli flagship store designed by Matteo Nunziati represents a refined evolution of the showroom concept, where textile heritage and contemporary living are brought into a unified spatial narrative.
Developed across multiple levels, the space is conceived as a seamless integration between Rubelli’s historic textile tradition and the furniture collections of Rubelli Casa, under the creative direction of Nunziati.
Rather than a conventional display environment, the project unfolds as a cohesive interior, where fabrics, furnishings and architectural elements coexist in perfect balance.
The design is rooted in a sophisticated cultural framework, drawing inspiration from Milanese interiors of the 1930s and from figures such as Gio Ponti and Portaluppi. Classical proportion, compositional clarity and attention to detail are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, resulting in spaces that feel both timeless and current.
Materials, textures and colours are orchestrated with precision, creating a layered and immersive atmosphere where each element contributes to a unified vision. The project avoids the idea of isolated iconic pieces, favouring instead a harmonious environment in which every object participates in a broader dialogue.
