Arno lamps

Design by Matteo Nunziati

Arno carries the name of the river that runs through Florence — the same river whose waters, in medieval times, were used to soften hides before tanning.

Leather as the protagonist

An unusual material for a lamp, its woven shade crafted through an ancient tanning process and set in deliberate contrast with the clean, linear iron frame.

The inner liner in sanded Pyrex glass casts a warm, enveloping light.

The table version distils the same language into a smaller, more intimate scale, equally at ease on a desk, a bedside table, or a console.
