There is a recurring idea in great architecture — the threshold, the frame, the boundary that defines what lies within. Nelson brings that idea into the bedroom with disarming precision.
A frame within a frame.
The collection’s protagonist is the bed, and its defining move is structural: an imposing wooden headboard that surrounds and frames a smaller, softer padded insert — structure and comfort held in deliberate tension.
Hard and soft, architecture and upholstery, presence and intimacy — all resolved in a single gesture. The slimline base rests on slender metal feet, giving the whole piece the impression of floating — suspended, barely touching the floor.
The family is completed by a bench, vanity table, desk and bedside table — each piece speaking the same taut, essential language.
Canaletto walnut, bronze metal feet, removable upholstered inserts: materials chosen not for opulence, but for longevity and warmth.
