Kyma Collection

Design by Matteo Nunziati

Some collections earn their name. Kyma takes its from the kymàtion — the undulating moulding of ancient temple friezes, so refined it survived centuries without revision. Here, that classical wave is not quoted but translated. This is how great design thinks — not backwards, but through.

The sofa and armchair share a single structural idea: a wooden frame cradling a leather “pocket,” within which the cushions appear to float rather than sit. The coffee and side tables extend the dialogue — walnut legs, leather-edged profiles, tops in wood or marble — solidity made to feel weightless.
