Penthouse 432 Park Avenue

Within the iconic 432 Park Avenue — one of the most exclusive residential towers in the world, designed by Rafael Viñoly — Matteo Nunziati designed the interiors of a 767 sqm full-floor penthouse, suspended high above Manhattan.

/ location New York — USA
/ dimension 770 sqm

Completed in 2015, the tower is defined by its rigorous geometry and unmistakable square windows, which frame extraordinary panoramic views over New York and Central Park.

The building offers an exceptional range of private amenities, from wellness and fitness facilities to dining and leisure spaces, setting a new standard for contemporary luxury living.

The interior design project is conceived to enhance the architectural identity of the tower while introducing a sense of warmth and refinement.

A bespoke eucalyptus wood frame defines each window, integrating lighting, climate systems and automated curtains, transforming the iconic openings into architectural elements within the space.

Italian Craft at Altitude

The flooring, designed by Nunziati for Listone Giordano, features a distinctive wenge pattern that reinforces the geometric rhythm of the interiors.

A curated selection of furniture — including pieces designed by Nunziati for Molteni & C alongside iconic works by Gio Ponti — creates a refined dialogue between contemporary design and Italian heritage.

The result is a sophisticated and timeless living environment, where precision, materiality and proportion define a new interpretation of high-rise luxury.
