Foxtrot wood flooring – Listone Giordano

A wooden fabric that loses the traditional forms of parquet and is inspired by the works of Mies van der Rohe and Mondrian. An interweaving of lines, squares and rectangles that are freely juxtaposed, creating ever-changing surfaces.
As in the works of Stravinsky's neoclassical period in which the master takes his cue from classical tonal harmony interspersing it with surprising dissonances.
On the one hand he innovates and displaces while simultaneously returning to the classical works and themes of Monteverdi, Gluck and Mozart). A grid composed of a rational interweaving of lines gives life to a wooden fabric that loses the traditional forms of parquet to acquire a whole new elegance.
Geometric shapes that differ substantially from the traditional plank, creating an abacus of square and rectangular elements that can be freely juxtaposed, creating ever new and different surfaces.
A project freely inspired by the work of architect Mies van der Rohe and painter Piet Mondrian, it pushes the boundaries of the visual arts to embrace the music of composers such as Igor' Stravinsky and Claude Debussy.
